The Fourth Amendment

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

The title of this video says it all.  Every single day in this country, citizens are having their fourth amendment right to "be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."  There are hundreds, if not thousands of videos like this one on the internet.  Police officers continue to assert their authority in an unjust, unlawful manor.

There is nothing patriotic about the Patriot Act.  It violates the principle of the entire fourth amendment.  Enacted in 2001, the Patriot Act extended government power to wiretap and seizes records without probable cause.  I understand the desire and need to want to make sure 9/11 never happens again in this country, but at what cost.  The Patriot Act goes against everything the American political systems stands for.  There is no system of checks and balances in place to assure that average, blue collar American's aren't having their homes invaded each and every day.
